ArtificeSet against the backdrop of the art-world, Artifice concerns Oswald, an enigmatic, albino, museum gift-shop owner whose life of near obsessive routine is jeopardised when the local council decides to demolish the museum. His story takes an unusual turn when he is mistaken to be a talented, conceptual artist by Lauren, an over-ambitious art student. Manipulated into becoming a world-renowned celebrity by others for their own gains, Oswald must contend with a capricious public, as well as an unshakeable city councillor, as he struggles to overcome the threat to his idiosyncratic existence.
